Help me about VMC and ps1 games

Hi
- I made new VMC1 with 8mb, then it was little, I create new VMC2 with 64mb, can I transfer the saved file game ?

- I want to play ps1 on ps2, the PS2PSXE emulator have a problem, the problem is: frames maybe 150 or 200, on play game 75 !!!

Hi, I have an SCPH-90xxx model that is missing the 6 case screws and rubber feet/plastic screw covers. If anyone knows the specs of the screws or finds any online listing selling them please tell me. I couldn't find any online listing for them nor the screw specs. Thanks!

Hi, i have a ps2 slim with a chip mod that allows you to play with original and copies of ps1 and ps2 games eu/usa/jap.
My AC adapter made a little sparkle in the ps2 plug site, so the ps2 stopped working.
I opened the AC adapter and fixed the transformer, then when I plugged it into the console again, the ps2 seemed to be unable to read anything, the chip mod starts normally but the laser couldn't see anything, I assumed.
I took the ps2 to a friend, we opened the console and he did some...

opl free mc boot update

my mem card is not full but the new update is over 1.2mb
i dont have any savegames on my official mem card
iam using a 1.5tb internal hdd
so how do i update to the new opl ? buying a bigger mem is not safe i was told
can i install the files i have on the mem card to the internal hdd ?
or do i need to reformat the hdd and use hdmcboot < not a option for me because i had allot of problems setting up my hdd and ps2 ps1 games etc etc

I don't get this at all. I am trying to change the buttons on Midway Arcade Treasures 3 it has like 8 racing games and each have their own ELF. I tried patching each one, but then after you patch each one it wants you to to create an ISO. Well obviously I didn't want to create 8 ISOs so I hit cancel, but then it doesn't save the codes for that ELF. So once I create the ISO it only creates the patches for that one single ELF that I did last. The listing for PS2 Patch Engine says it supports...

Hi all,
I'm looking for a full (or most of) NVRAM restore via ELF because there's a long story below.

A friend of mine gave me a non-working PS2 V9 (50004 PAL). I opened it up and there were traces of a removed mod-chip installation. The main problem was the RTC battery and the died laser (with some smoke coming out from the coils).

i want to use my ps2 pal version with s video cable on my 1701/02 monitor < commodore
now in the ps2 all is fine no problems there / in the opl menu no problems everything is sharp and clear
the moment A game boots i get black and white image and the image is double and flikkers
i tried auto settings in the menu stil the same
any one tried this or has tips

This is really about a PS2 ISO on PS3 so I didn't know which section to post in but since it's about a PS2 ISO I choose PS2. Anyway what I'm trying to do is use PS2 controller remapper to remap buttons for PS2 racing games so I can use my steering wheel with them on PS3. When I ELF extract Jak X I get

When I open SCES_532.86 in PS2 controller remapper I get "unable to locate controller routine" but when I load NTGUI_EU.ELF it loads fine and lets me remap the...

Hi, I've SCPH-90001 with matrix chip inside of it and know nothing about it until today. just inserted discs into it and played for years cause i was too young when it got the chip and ı wasnt even realise that its hard modded. So anyway ı just want to know can i install freemcboot and other homebrew stuff into this or is it impossible due to newer bioses on 9000x models? and does matrix have a ui of itself so that i can wander around the settings?

Hi, currently i'm planning to buy another PS2 fat, because mine is very loud with the network adapter installed. I was thinking about the v11 version, but i cannot find one. Should I get a PS2 now, or should I just continue to use my Modded PS3 with HEN? I backup my own PS2 discs to my PS3, and it has worked great so far.

But I have some of my best gaming memories with the PS1 and PS2 consoles back in the day.

So, I installed FMCB for the first time using FreeDVDBoot but ESR, HD loader and Simple Media System don't show up (I had to manually download them and add them to the list and maybe they aren't the right versions);
After inserting a DVD with a burned (patched) backup it's stated "DVD Player is not set up". I can still play the game via ESR (I've yet to try Open PS2 Loader and I manually downloaded and add it to the list as well as GSM Selector), though;

Help Deving the PS2 DVD using PCSX2

Hello,

Does anyone know how to get the DVD component of PCSX2 to work for development purposes.

I know CTurt got it to work and in his guide he mentions to dump your PS2 BIOS, extract the DVDELF, decrypt this into an ELF and it should work in PCSX2.

However when I load this ELF I get "DVD player is not setup" whilst in the PS2 browser.

Does anyone know what step I'm missing and how to get it to run? AFAIK @krHACKen has some idea.

So basically,this thread was originally posted in psxscene but for some weird reasons the domain stopped working,those who got to see my thread can skip this part, if you see this the first time, no problem!
So, i have a ps2 slim model scph 90006,my brother obtained this ps2 by buying or literally saving this ps2 from his college partner,it still works to this day,the disk reader used to work (but for stupid reasons stopped working hehe)the fmcb works but does not straightly...

Sorry if this isn't the right place! I didn't see a section specifically for ESR or ESR compatibility questions, (other than the main ESR release thread), so hopefully this is okay.

I'll start by saying that I'm very familiar with burning backups for use with ESR. I've done a few dozen already. I'm using r10e, and it works flawlessly with everything I've tried, except Curse: The Eye of Isis, which freezes at the first splash screen. I tried another burn, and got the same result.
