PS2 Slim 90k6 failure? Lousy fan when powered on then UNKNOWN console version

Hey!
I got this console recently and it was very dirty

So I cleaned it up with alcohol 90%. I reassembled and it worked great.
After that I opened my console again and I replaced the thermal pad for one with 1.0 mm (30 x 30mm) like below:

When I reassembled the console I powered it on, no image or audio appeared in my OSSC (line doubler / upscaler) and the fan went maximum...
