So, I found my old PS2 Fat 50001 and I'm trying to restore it. The only issue it seems to have is that the entire disk drive is now dead as in the tray won't move (not because it's stuck, but more like out of power) and the laser doesn't turn on. However, the eject button turns on and when I press it, it blinks around 30 times while nothing happens to the ODD (again, seems to have no power at all).
This is my first attempt to repair a console but I feel that one of the ribbon...
