Replaced PS2 laser desk and now Swap Magic won't boot.

I have a SCPH-77003 that had its laser go bad so I ordered a replacement which I installed today with success. Everything I've tried on it has worked so far (DVD, CD and PS1 games) but I cannot for the life of my get Swap Magic 3.8 PAL to boot on it.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?
